Germany VPS Node Under DDos Attack – Server Restored

November 8th, 2010 No comments

[Update 2 - 19:05, GMT +8]

The VPS node is now restored and back online. You may access to your server from now onward. If you still experienced downtime, please open ticket to our support as soon as possible.

The recent downtime and this downtime is caused by the same issue where our server under DDos attacked. During this downtime happen, we had contacted DC to block the source ip however DC feedback that they cannot block IP’s from outside and no way for us to reboot the server either in normal or rescue mode. In this case, DC have locked our server for few hours until the attack is ended. Initial finding this attack is targeted to one of our client’s VPS and this ip has been disable /nulled route by DC at this stage.

Again, we apology on this downtime.

Please refer to this post from time to time for latest update.

[Update 1 - 12:25, GMT +8]

After we confirmed with DC about the downtime, we being informed that our server is under DDos attack and we are working it now to resolve this issue.  The recent downtime seems to be come from the same root cause.

[DDos Attack - 10:15, GMT +8]

Currently we experienced server downtime for Germany Node.

We have contacted DC about this issue as we unable to reboot the server remotely at this moment. As such we unable to diagnose and find out the root cause of this downtime.

We will keep you update once the server is back online.

Apology on the inconvenient caused.

No More Speed Capped for VPS

October 30th, 2010 No comments

This is to announce that the speed cap or speed limit will be remove from all our VPS plans with immediate effect. This is to let each of the customers share the full 100mbps port for their VPS without capping, smoother speed for their VPS and burstable up to full 100mbps.

However, this is the nature of VPS hosting, all the users are shared with the single port with full speed. The speed may depends on the number of user use the bandwidth simutanuously. The maximum speed may drop when few users use in the same time. But, we will limit the number of VPS per node, so that everyone can enjoy the best effort maximum speed!

Enjoy!
